Team
Fresh off their redemptive return to the collegiate baseball throne, the Ateneo Baseball Team will strive to hold their ground and capture their fourth crown in five years. An accomplished, familiar roster infused with a stellar rookie class has the Blue Eagles poised to defend their title on the diamond.
Team Captain
Marquis Alindogan
Playing the field in his final year, Marquis Alindogan takes charge as the Blue Eagles’ steersman from second base. The graduating captain will lead by example whether on or off the diamond, using charisma and cool-headedness to keep the squad in-check and oriented towards the gold.
“I think our team, in general, is a lot more disciplined and a lot more focused. Everyday we just keep locked in and take it one game at a time.”

Paulo Macasaet
The reigning finals Most Valuable Player (MVP) and highly decorated senior Paulo Macasaet faces the challenge of duplicating the success he and his team earned a season ago. With a cannon for an arm and a silent demeanor on the mound, the veteran pitcher has the Blue Eagles set for another title chase.

Marco Mallari
After a superb sophomore season, Marco Mallari has established himself as a force to be reckoned with, consistently launching bombs from the plate to fuel Ateneo’s offense. The veteran center-fielder will set an example as a seasoned Blue Eagle, playing a bigger leadership role for his younger teammates this year.

Fausto Eizmendi
A product of the Brent International School baseball program, Fausto Eizmendi joins Ateneo in his collegiate debut. Looking to make an impact in the ballpark, the heavy-hitting rookie hopes to carve his niche on the squad by filling an empty spot on the infield at first and third base.

Luis Estacio
As the Blue Eagles’ newest addition to the bullpen, Luis Estacio has impressed with his composure and consistency on the mound, cementing his place on the roster. After showing promise in the offseason, the rookie from Ateneo de Manila High School could be a vital cog in Ateneo’s pitching rotation.

Coach’s Corner
Coach’s Corner
Key players during the rebirth of Ateneo’s baseball dynasty in Season 75, assistant coaches and brothers Adrian and Bocc Bernardo bring invaluable knowledge and experience to the team. As former champions themselves, the tandem will guide their squad through the ups and downs of a turbulent season.
“With their experience from the past year, and the tournaments and training camps we had in preparation for this season, the team will not just be a contender, but I believe they will make it to the top again.”
