Take the Lede: The GUIDON Crowdsourcing Form

In journalism, the lede refers to the introductory section of a story that is intended to capture the reader's attention.

In The GUIDON's 94th year, the publication strives to venture beyond the limits of its knowledge by continuing Take the Lede, where stakeholders can pitch story and event ideas that they would like the publication to investigate or execute. This crowdsourcing platform was created in the interest of forming a direct relationship with the publication's readers so that we may produce more content that successfully captures the interest and needs of the public.

Each pitch submitted to us through this platform will be taken into consideration and scrutinized for feasibility. Although we cannot guarantee that all suggestions will be accepted, The GUIDON can ensure that it will thoroughly investigate each pitch. You will be notified if your event or story has been chosen. Rest assured that personal details will remain confidential.

If you have any questions, concerns, or clarifications, please contact the Associate Editor, Anna Pineda at apineda@theguidon.com.
