Fine Arts Dept celebrates Women’s Week

To recognize and empower women and celebrate their importance in the world today, the Fine Arts Program of the School of Humanities spearheaded Ateneo Women’s Week dubbed “XX” on  March 1 to 3.

The three-day event featured an exhibit featuring the different faces of a Filipina at the old Rizal Library. On the second day, an open-mic session was held at the Cervini Field where teachers and students read poems and sang songs honoring womanhood.

The celebration ended with the staging of The Vagina Monologues, a play directed by Missy Maramara, also held at the Cervini Field on March 3.
