THE ATENEO Blue Eagles defeated Team Dynasty, a selection of players from the previous five-peat championship Ateneo squads, 72-67 on Friday, August 28 at the Blue Eagle Gym.

Team Dynasty was coached by Norman Black and was composed of former Blue Eagles Jai Reyes, Emman Monfort, Eric Salamat, Bon Jovi Cipriano, Bacon Austria, Chris Newsome, Nico Salva, Oping Sumalinog, Nonoy Baclao, Justin Chua, Greg Slaughter, and Doug Kramer.

Team Destiny, the current iteration of the Blue Eagles, was composed of Kiefer Ravena, Von Pessumal, Jerie Pingoy, Giboy Babilonia, Gwyne Capacio, Ikeh Chibueze, Alfonzo Gotladera, Adrian Wong, John Apacible, Matt Nieto, Mike Nieto, Vince Tolentino, Arvin Tolentino, Aaron Black, Isaac Go, and Hubert Cani.

The Blue Eagles will next see action during the University Athletic Association of the Philippines tournament against Far Eastern University, 4:00PM, Sunday, September 6 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
