IN BRIGHT Blue and White, the Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion showcased their talent and dedication at the 2025 National Cheerleading Championships (NCC), held from March 28–30 at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City. This prestigious event brought together some of the finest cheerleading teams from across the country, each vying for the championship title.

In the College All-Girl Pom Duo category, Ateneo’s Lauren Lee and Victoria Estiva put on a memorable performance that showed synergy and impressive execution. Despite the tough competition, Lee and Estiva’s routine displayed their technical skills and artistry that demonstrated remarkable poise and passion, leaving a good impression on everyone in attendance.

Meanwhile, the College Coed Cheer Division saw the Blue Babble Battalion’s main team dance with passion and embody the heart of a champion. Filled with energy and emotion, their performance reflected their grit and commitment to excellence, while maintaining a confident stage presence throughout their choreography.

Though the Blue Babble Battalion did not secure a championship title in either division, their presence at the competition showcased the squad’s undying competitive spirit that they continue to cultivate. The team’s resilience and positive attitude in the face of fierce competition manifested the spirit and heart that Ateneo brings to every event.

As one of the University’s long standing sources of inspiration at different University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) sports competitions, the team made sure to invigorate audiences with their hearty presence in the stadium. Their power to bring that same level of enthusiasm to the national stage showed that their spirit transcends beyond just the courts of the UAAP.

The Blue Eagles hope to use their experience from the NCC as a springboard for their upcoming stint in the UAAP Season 88 Cheerdance Competition.
