LOYOLA GAMING (LG) Terra overcame Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraw FX, 13-7, to record its first win in the Esports AcadArena University Alliance Cup Valorant Season 2 earlier today.

After opening the match with a triple kill from Team Captain Justine “LG Dippy” Ngkaion, LG Terra notched two quick wins to take an early 2-0 advantage. FEU quickly retaliated and tied the match in the eighth round, 4-4. However, LG Terra recovered from their mistakes and continued to show good map control, closing the half with four straight wins, 8-4.

The Tamaraw FX stopped the bleeding after the switch and secured two quick wins, 8-6. Despite the initial setback, LG Terra regained their composure and won the next three rounds, highlighted by a team ace in the 15th round, 11-6. FEU tried to rally back in the 18th round after TFX Jude tallied four kills under his belt. However, LG Terra’s advantage was too wide as they closed the match in round 20, 13-7.

After the game, Ngkaion was proud of his team and shared the team’s approach heading into the game. “Our main mindset for today’s game was to forget about our loss yesterday and try to improve on our mistakes and bounce back today,’’ he said.

LG Terra will look to register their second win against the Mapua Gaming Society Spades on Sunday, March 14, 6:00 PM. Fans can stream the matches on https://www.twitch.tv/acadarenaph or https://www.facebook.com/AcadArenaPH.
