THE ATENEO Blue Eagles lost against the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws, 2-5 on Saturday, February 13 at the McKinley Hill Stadium at Taguig City.

Jarvey Gayoso scored the Ateneo’s only two goals of the game in the 68th and 76th minutes. Meanwhile, the Tamaraws got the bulk of their goals from Rico Andes, who scored two of his own during the match.

“What we can take out of this is that we can beat them,” said Blue Eagle centerback Jeremiah Rocha. “We just have to put the extra effort to get back on defense.”

This loss puts the Blue Eagles at 2-5-0 in the elimination round standings of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines Football tournament.

Their next game will be against the Adamson University, 7:00pm, Saturday, February 20 at the McKinley Hill Stadium at Taguig City.
