AFTER A strong start, Team Glory Be never looked back and defeated the Adamson Baby Falcons, 86-58, en route to back-to-back victories in the Got Skills Elite Showcase tournament, last Sunday, August 16, at Enderun College, Taguig City.

The Blue and White jumped ahead to a 27-4 lead by the end of the first quarter as their solid full-court pressure defense flustered the Baby Falcons into bad shots and several turnovers. The Blue Eagles also had solid rim protection, ending the game with a season-high nine blocks—seven of those coming from center Kemark Cariño.

CJ Perez once again top-scored for Ateneo with a team-high 16 points and seven rebounds. Quinito Banzon and Earl Murphy followed his lead by scoring 15 and 10 points, respectively.

This win puts the Blue Eagles at 4-1 in the team standings, trailing Enderun College at 6-0 and National University at 5-1.
