THE ATENEO Lady Eagles defeated the University of the Philippines Lady Maroons in four sets, 25-18, 26-24, 20-25, and 25-15 on Saturday, August 15 at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

Alyssa Valdez led the Blue and White with 29 points while Jhoana Maraguinot followed her teammate’s offensive output with 24 points of her own.

This win puts the Lady Eagles at 6-0 in the elimination round standings of the Shakey’s V-League tournament.

Their next game will be against Arellano University, 12:45 PM, Sunday, August 23 at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.
