Lady Eagles enter SVL Final Four with win over Arellano

THE ATENEO Lady Eagles defeated the Arellano University Lady Chiefs in three straight sets, 25-14, 25-17, and 25-19 on Saturday, August 22 at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

Alyssa Valdez led the Blue and White with 20 points en route to Player of the Game honors. Amy Ahomiro followed Valdez’s offensive output with 13 points.

This win puts the Lady Eagles at 7-0 in the elimination round standings of the Shakey’s V-League tournament and ensures them a slot in the Final Four round.

Their next game will be against Far Eastern University, 12:45 PM, Saturday, August 29 at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.
