A TEAM composed of students from the Ateneo de Manila University Loyola Schools recently won first runner up in the 4th Annual National Ultimate Collegiate Championship (NUCC) last June 13-14, 2015 at the Greenfield City Sports Field, Paseo Center, Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

The tournament was hosted by the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman Ultimate Organization in cooperation with Greenfield City and featured 16 college and university-based teams, with UP Diliman and UP Los Baños winning first and third place respectively.

Communications super senior Anjo Umali was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament while also garnering the Most Assists award.

The Loyola Ultimate Disc Association was the official Ultimate Frisbee club for the Loyola Schools until 2013. However, a lack of members and support from the school eventually led to its dissolution. Umali is hopeful that their latest achievement will help build up interest in Ultimate Frisbee in the Ateneo community for the years to come.
