Atenean places 2nd in sportswriting contest

DESPITE BEING the only Atenean contestant, Communication junior Camille Eugenia Naredo won second place among a list of 45 college students at the Phoenix Fuel-PBA Press Corps sportswriting contest in the Araneta Coliseum on February 14.

The contestants covered Game 3 of the KFC-PBA Philippine Cup semi-final series between the Alaska Aces and the Ginebra Kings. Naredo received a cash prize and Phoenix-PBAPC Certificate of Accomplishment during the awards rites set at halftime of Game 4 of the Alaska-Purefoods finals on March 3.
