Season 70

Blue Batters managed to secure only a single win (against La Salle) the entire season, setting them back with a 1-9 record, marking the beginning of the downward spiral.

Season 71

The most promising season prior to the current one, with the Blue Batters finally cracking into the Final Four and finishing 3rd overall.

Season 72

The euphoria was short-lived however as the Blue Batters had a winless season.

Season 73

Finishing with a 4-6 slate, the Blue Batters’ only high points of the season were their two victories over archrivals DLSU.

Season 74

Ateneo sweeps the first round and defeats DLSU to advance to the finals for the first time in history.

Rebirth

After years of coming up short, the Blue Batters have had enough. This past season, they’ve proven how determined they were to finally put an end to the dry spell, proving that there still is hope for Ateneo baseball.

Under the leadership of captains Matt Reyes and Bocc Bernardo, the Blue Batters upped their game by implementing stricter training regimes and worked to improve the team dynamics on and off the field.

“Our team is more bonded now [compared to previous years] and everyone is equal,” says Reyes.
