Lectures pay tribute to Fr. Galdon

THE Interdisciplinary Studies and English Departments held the Father Galdon Memorial Lectures on January 17, 24 and 31.

Fr. Joseph Galdon, SJ was the dean of the then College of Arts and Sciences from 1968 to 1970. He was an English professor to generations of Ateneans and Jesuit scholastics. He passed away on March 15, 2010.

The lectures included commentaries on the short stories of authors such as Bienvenido Santos, Nick Joaquin and Gregorio Brillantes, among others.
