FIVE SOCIAL Sciences majors brought the Ateneo an honorable feat by placing second in the 4th Inter-University Sociology Quiz Bee held at De La Salle University in Manila last December 4.
Justin See, Zayra Abraham, Fatima Joven, Angeli Nasser, and Isabel Camus, all Fourth Year Social Sciences majors, went head to head in the championship round with the representatives of defending champion and eventual first placer University of the Philippines-Los Banos.
The Inter-University Sociology Quiz Bee is an annual event, with the Ateneo Sociology and Anthropology Department hosting the event in December 2011.
