Alumna shines in graphic design awards

DURING THE 1st Philippine Graphic Design Awards, Danika Rio Navarro (BFA ID ’10) bagged three awards for three different pieces.

Navarro won a Merit Award for her poster for the Company of Ateneo Dancers’ (CADS) Rhythm-in-Blue, a C Award (student runner-up) for a piece titled “Credo” for another CADs event, and the M Award (student top prize) for “SELAH Redesigned Desk Study Bible.”

The awards were named after the printing inks cyan, magenta, yellow and key black (C, M, Y, K).

Navarro was awarded on October 9 at The Tents in Alphaland Southgate Makati.
