Academic integrity is central to the nature of a university. The Loyola Schools, as such, has a clear system in place for the prosecution of student plagiarists.

1. Evidence of student plagiarism is submitted by the concerned teacher to the Office of the Associate Dean for Student Affairs (ADSA).

2. ADSA formally charges the plagiarism suspect, if the evidence or claim is deemed sufficient.

3. Disciplinary hearings are conducted. Talks are held between the concerned student and faculty member.

4 If the student is deemed guilty, a Discipline Committee recommends appropriate sanctions to the Vice President for the Loyola Schools.

5. After a thorough review, the Vice President sentences the convicted student to his or her final sanction.
