Loyola Gaming (LG) Terra demolished University of San Carlos (USC) Portal Warriors, 13-5, earlier today to stay undefeated in the EAA University Alliance Cup Season 3.

Despite losing graduating seniors Dominic “LG Skwamy” Juan and Timmy “LG Yabba” Albert, LG Terra’s mix of rookies and veterans quickly opened the match with a two-for-nothing round exchange. USC closed the gap after the seventh round, 4-3, despite the early pick of Michael “LG Flex” Uy. However, LG responded with a 5-0 run to close the half, 9-3, highlighted by Uy’s triple kill in round nine.

Down by six rounds, USC threatened to reduce the deficit by securing the first two rounds of the second half, 9-5. This proved to be the last stand of USC as LG closed the match on a 3-0 run highlighted by LG Flex’s second triple kill of the match in round 18.

“[LG Doop and LG Nibby] really played well and are definitely good additions to the team to fill in the positions left by Skwamy and Yabba. Overall, we all performed well and we hope it will continue in our future games,” Justin “LG Dippy” Ngkaion said.

LG will look to extend their win streak as they face Holy Angel University on Sunday, August 29, 3 PM.
