Bejino finishes last in Tokyo Paralympics Opener

GARY BEJINO failed to qualify for the Men’s 200m Individual Medley SM6 finals of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics held at the Tokyo Aquatics Center earlier today.

Bejino clocked in with a time of 3 minutes and 17.19 seconds for a last place finish, 34.12 seconds behind first place Nelson Crispin Corzo of Colombia.

Despite placing last in the event, Bejino still has three remaining Paralympic events to compete in—making him the athlete with the most events in the Philippine Delegation. Bejino will compete next in the 400m freestyle S6 on Friday, August 30 in the Tokyo Aquatics Center at 8:40 AM Manila time.
