Rebounding off a strong preseason and bannered by a promising rookie class, the Lady Eagles are locked and loaded for a new run for gold after a sixth-place finish last year. New pole vaulters and sprinters join forces with an experienced crew, as the team hopes to catch fire in a new campaign.
Team Captain
Kim Zulueta and Kayla Yao
Kayla Yao and Kim Zulueta stand at the front of the pack, bearing the torch as captains to help lift the team to new heights. Familiar with the intense atmosphere of collegiate competition, the tandem will fight with confidence and heart as they share the weight of leadership in Season 80.

Vanessa Baguiwet
Veteran Vanessa Baguiwet has doubled her athletic duties, balancing responsibilities as the squad’s principal thrower and libero on the Ateneo Women’s Volleyball team. With unmatched strength and ability on the team, Baguiwet remains a force to be reckoned with as the Lady Eagles’ enter their latest campaign.

Nika Crisostomo
Junior Nika Crisostomo ranked ninth in the 200m dash and tenth in the 400m heats last season, playing an instrumental role in the 4x400m relay team that ranked fifth. This year, she has strived to kick her speed up a notch for the squad, making the most out of the opportunity to grow as a Lady Eagle.

Isabella Artuz
Hailing from Saint Paul College Pasig, Isabella Artuz has earned her wings, debuting in the league after a promising display in the preseason. The young pole vaulter adds youth and fresh life to the team, joining a batch of youngbloods whose talent will be cultivated for the seasons to come.

Marga Delos Reyes
Making a name for herself with a medal-winning performance in the offseason, Marga Delos Reyes is ready to unleash her speed on the track. Also a member of the FAST Ateneo Swimming Team, Delos Reyes brings her talent out of the pool to show her ability as a runner on a different landscape.

Coach’s Corner
Riezel Buenaventura
A Southeast Asian (SEA) Games medalist of both local and international acclaim, Coach Riezel Buenaventura resumes her duties as navigator in Season 80. Serving as both coach and inspiration, her skills and knowledge have fueled the squad’s fire, with Buenaventura envisioning only the best for her team.
