TEAM CAPTAIN

Aaron Agojo

National Team member Aaron Agojo will fight alongside co-captain Justin de Leon as the blue jins look to improve on their fifth place finish in Season 78.
Ang pagiging leader na nagpapakita sa training, minomotivate sila, everyday. Ang importante naman lang for the UAAP is mag-training consistently.”

RETURNING VETERANS

Justin de Leon

De Leon makes a come back as the co- captain of the blue jins, participating in both the Kyurogi and Poomsae divisions of the UAAP Taekwondo tournament. The veteran leads by example, as he was able to garner a third place finish in the Poomsae division in his first UAAP.

NEW RECRUITS

Paul Cham

The former junior national team player Paul Cham was a consistent medalist in national competitions as well as the NCAA where he represented San Beda. Moreover, Cham also won a bronze medal in the previous Asian Junior Championship held in Taipei.

COACH’S CORNER

Elmer Rafael

“For how many years [the] Ateneo has not placed in competitions,” Rafael said. “Ang target namin this year is, at least, maka-first runner up kami.”
