THE PRESIDENTIAL candidates for the 2010 May elections are more than just their slogans and their rankings.
The Loyola Film Circle (LFC) emphasized voters’ awareness instead of the promotion of presidential candidates in their event Turn Rights, held February 24 and March 3 at the Faura Audio Visual Room. The event was in partnership with Heights and Dakila, a group of artists advocating social consciousness formation.
Turn Rights involved a gallery of works of Heights members, talks from Dakila, and a comedy act from the Cardio Boys, a comedy dance group. There was also a film showing of a comedy drama-film Swing Vote.
