What do you want the Sanggu to do next School Year?

“That they inspire the students to become active participants in school activities, that they do something to make Ateneo education be more student-centered, that they should develop the students more and make them grow even outside the classroom, and that they move them to make them become nation-builders.”

– Tim Gabuna (Director, Ateneo Residence Halls)

“I want Sanggu to tell us why we need to vote for them before they complain that we aren’t voting for them.”

-Arnold Lindros Lau (I AB DS)

“To continue the excellence that the Sanggunian has shown this year in serving the student body and remaining in line with the 4 pillars and core competencies of the institution.”

-Lauren Santos (IV BS HSc, Sanggu Chairperson SOSE Board ’09-‘10)

“Personally, I would like Sanggu to be able to provide avenues for students to help build the nation. I mean currently the Sanggu has been pushing the idea of youth movement and getting the youth agendas to the next president but I think we should also help do something to address the youth concerns in our own way.”

-Ranny Rainier Aquino (III BS ME)

“More support to the organizations. As a member of [the Council of Organizations of the Ateneo] (COA), that should be done para makita talaga na gumagalaw ang Sanggu. And more support [to us] when dealing with offices like OSA and OAS.”

– Kenneth Isaiah Abante (II BS ME, COA Secretary-General ‘10-‘11)

“Ewan. Graduate na ako.”

– Julian Santos Presbitero (IV BS LM)

“I don’t really expect anything from Sanggu. I just hope that they do more things that can be felt by the whole student body.”

– Josefa Angelica Atayde (II AB IS)
