“Their defeat last year will fuel their thirst for a championship, and that would definitely increase their chances of winning.”

– Jose Paolo Talusan (III BS ECE)

“With the influx of new talent, I’m very optimistic that they’ll perform well this year. Not exactly a championship this season, but at this rate, they’re well on their way to winning one soon.”

– Knight Roderos (II AB DS)

“They’ve built a great team in the past few years and the core’s still there. I’m sure with the right mix of heart and hard work, they can bag the trophy.”

– Jericho Vazquez (III BS MIS)

“I think they can win it all this year but it will be a very difficult task. They had a hard time scoring against FEU’s defense last year and unless they have improved in the offseason, that will most likely be the case again this year. Losing Pat Ozaeta to graduation also hurts their chances, but I’m sure someone will step up and take his place.”

– Quinito Sanchez (II BSM AMF)

“Champions are made, not born. Skill was never on Ateneo’s side even during the three-peat era. But it was their character and the will to win that helped them bring home the trophy. The Blue Booters don’t lack a single bit of confidence to win it all this year. If you ask them where they got their confidence, they’ll tell you that that’s just how they roll.”

– Julio Sulit (IV AB Comm)
