AFTER MISSING the podium by just 0.16 points in the previous UAAP showdown, the Company of Ateneo Dancers (CADs) is ready to take the Season 87 Street Dance Competition by storm. The Katipunan-based troupe seeks to fortify their spot on the map by exhibiting passion and camaraderie that transcend the stage. Piloting the crew to greater heights are seniors Renee Perez and Leonard Leyes, who serve as director and coordinator, respectively, accompanied by the mastery of Coach Jesse “Reflex” Gotangco. With the goal of outdoing themselves every time they step on stage, the rookies and veterans of CADs are more than ready to bring glory to the Blue and White. Fueled by grit, CADs looks to leverage their years of experience and hours of hard work as instruments to bolster their bid for a return to the UAAP podium. This remarkable troupe will make heads turn and jaws drop, ultimately leaving a legacy on the dance floor.
