Men's Table Tennis
Tried and True

THE ATENEO Men’s Table Tennis Team (AMTTT) have proven themselves to be the squad to look out for after maintaining their second-place finish last Season 86.
This season, Team Captain Andrew Uy and Co-Captain Drozle Fresco aim to make each drive and smash a step toward toppling the perennial contenders and, ultimately, claiming the championship. “That’s what we really want to give to the Ateneo before all of us graduate,” Uy shared in a mix of Filipino and English.
Under long-time Head Coach Mihali Crisostomo, the AMTTT harnesses their two years of finals experience to their advantage. Led by returning veterans Kong Cabrido, Wrency Abad, and reigning Season 86 Rookie of the Year Andree Garcia, the team stands unshaken by the pressure of a new season.
The Ateneo also boasts the debut of decorated rookie Augustus Conrad Mendez, who is set to enrich the talent within the roster.
For Uy and his squad, turning silver into gold in Season 87 won’t require the magic of alchemy—just their usual display of grit, agility, and united strength.
