THE ATENEO Men’s Judo Team embarks on this year’s UAAP season in peak form, ready to fight tooth and nail to bring glory to the Blue and White. During the offseason, Head Coach Ali Sulit’s squad pushed themselves to the limit, reaping awards in international competitions and training rigorously in the dojo.
As Season 87 approaches, these martial artists remain committed to achieving one goal in mind: preserving a winning tradition.
Team Captain Trev Apostol leads this year’s unit alongside national team compatriots Aldwyn Thor, Pete Fabre, and Keoni Dylim as first-string contenders. Meanwhile, fellow judokas Ryan Dela Cruz, Peter Estacio, and Malaya Mamaril return to ensure their quest for glory continues. Promising rookie Eric Rodriguez also enters this year’s selection, bringing with him a flawless technique that established a decorated high school career.
With their fourth overall standing last season, the team is stepping onto the tatami mats with renewed courage, aiming to bag the collegiate championship once more.
