AFTER FACING a rare Final Four exit in UAAP Season 86, the Ateneo Men’s Basketball Team (AMBT) is poised to renew their pursuit of championship glory. The team remains resolute in cultivating a cohesive unit under the Blue and White banner, with a strong foundation built over years of excellence. With co-captains Chris Koon and Sean Quitevis committed for one last dance, the AMBT looks to overcome the challenges of their previous campaign and the recent offseason to elevate their play on the hardwood. Despite some notable departures, the Katipunan-based squad has enlisted the help of standout rookies Jared Bahay, Kristian Porter, and Femi Edu to fortify the Blue Eagles’ nest. Although the Blue Eagle Band of Brothers are set to face an uphill battle this season, they remain eager to leverage their mix of experience and fresh talent. Looking to etch a new chapter in their storied legacy, Quitevis shares that the cagers are brimming with determination as they head into Season 87. “We’ve got nothing left to do but fight,” he stated.
