AFTER THEIR Cinderella run in UAAP Season 84, the Ateneo Women’s 3×3 Basketball Team is back for unfinished business. The Blue Eagles defied expectations by landing at fourth place last year, while also nearly dethroning the eventual champions, the National University, in their semifinal clash. In the coming season, a new-and-improved Women’s 3×3 squad is set to complete their vengeance as they return on the hardwood.

Geared with a new roster, the Blue Eagle lineup will feature emerging stars and long-serving key players who are willing to fight until the very last second of the game clock. Coach Bacon Austria, a product of Ateneo himself who competed in the first-ever FIBA Asia 3×3 Championship back in 2013, would draw from his experience to help the Blue and White accomplish another deep title run.

From years of being tagged as underdogs, the Blue Eagles are now ready to re-introduce themselves as the top contenders of the halfcourt. With missing pieces finally coming together, look to the girls as they go for gold in fearless fashion.
