AFTER A triumphant finish in Season 82 that allowed the FAST Ateneo Men’s Swimming Team to claim their sixth straight championship, the long-standing kings of the UAAP’s waters are back for more.

Despite the loss of notable skippers Aki Cariño and Miguel Barlisan, the Blue Eagles have retooled with a mixture of seasoned veteran talent and exciting new additions. Leading the pack of swimmers this upcoming season is Captain Rian Marco Tirol. His motivation to keep the streak going is shared by important holdovers like Nathan Barlis, Ianiko Limfilipino, and Jiron Rotoni, who were all a part of the most recent championship squad.

The inclusion of former back-to-back Juniors MVP Wacky Santos and National Team member Rafael Barreto will only boost the Blue Eagles’ chances of claiming their historic seventh consecutive Men’s swimming crown. With the plethora of talent combined with experienced coaching, expect the Blue and White to extend their reign in the UAAP.
