AFTER A second-place finish in UAAP Season 82, the Ateneo Men’s Badminton Team will look to finally capture the top spot this season with their formidable squad of veterans and flourishing new talent.

Despite losing their former captain duo—Fides Bagasbas and Keoni Asuncion—plenty of experience can still be found in the remaining veterans. Alongside the current Team Captain Arthur Samuel Salvado Jr. are holdovers Bryan Bernardo, Jacinto Maliwat, and Cody Torres—all of whom contributed to the success of the squad in their last UAAP stint. Joining the team’s solid core are new recruits Charles Bagasbas and Miguel Busuego, who are eager to represent the Blue and White for the first time on the competitive stage.

While they are still under the Head Coach Kennie Asuncion-Robles’ tutelage this upcoming season, one can expect the Blue Eagles to hit the ground running as they establish themselves as major contenders in the league once again.
